Lightest Motorcycle Helmets
Every gram on your head multiplies with wind pressure and hours in the saddle; a light lid is the difference between a stiff neck and forgetting the helmet is there. Everything here is under about 1500 g and still fully certified, weight saved by materials, not by missing protection.

Frequently asked questions
How light is a light motorcycle helmet?
Around 1500 g is light for a full-face; the lightest carbon road lids dip near 1300 g, and minimal open-face shells like the Bell Custom 500 sit near 1000 g. Average full-face helmets weigh 1600-1750 g, modulars often more than 1800 g.
Does a lighter helmet protect less?
No. Light premium lids use carbon fibre or multi-layer composites that absorb the same energy with less material; they carry the same DOT, ECE 22.06 or SNELL stamps. You pay in money, not protection.
