Frequently asked questions

What matters most in a touring helmet?

Quietness first: hours of 100+ km/h wind noise is fatiguing and damages hearing even with earplugs. After that, all-day comfort (liner, neck roll, weight), an internal sun visor for changing light, a Pinlock insert for fog, and clean comms integration.

Modular or full-face for touring?

Both work. Modulars (Shoei Neotec 3, Schuberth C5) win on convenience at fuel stops and borders; a touring full-face like the Shoei GT-Air 3 is lighter and a touch quieter for the same money. Pick modular if you flip the lid open often, full-face if you mostly leave it on.
